About our group
5k & 10k Trail running in Swinley Forest,
Berkshire, RG12 7QW.
We pride ourselves as being a relaxed and fun running club, without being overly structured or competitive. We meet every Sunday morning (09:30) and most Friday evenings (18:00) for an easy paced run through the trails of Swinley forest.
Our run leaders select two different routes of approximately 5k and 10k each week over prepared and unprepared tracks and trails. These routes are usually through a mixture of Scots pine forest and heathland, often over undulating terrain.
Naturally we understand that everyone has their own pace, we therefore include occasional stops to regroup and catch a breath. Whilst faster runners are free to run ahead and loop back to rejoin the group.
Each run is led by one of our experienced run leaders, with our core group of regulars ranging from 5 km casual runners to experienced trail runners always on hand to offer additional advice and support.
New members are always welcome, and we offer a one month free trial before we ask you join. Please be assured you will find the club relaxed, fun and supportive whatever your ability.
