About our group
Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks organises runs from zero to 5k for beginners, 5 to 10k and upwards for runners. If you’re not quite at that level, no problem, send me an email and we’ll see how we can help.
We’re all about building distance and fitness. But just as importantly, Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks is about enjoying being outdoors, making friends, mindfulness and mental wellbeing. Whether you’re working towards a personal goal, or you just want to run with likeminded friends, book a trek or run with Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks.
Everyone loves to explore and we will take you on a journey along the best trails, you'll be surprised how much green space and wildlife is so close. Getting back in touch with nature will help energise you whilst improving fitness and improving wellbeing.
Wednesday’s runs are distances of 5km to 10km with an opportunity to engage with a 10 minute workout for core fitness. Start time 6.30 from War Memorial Park, main car park.
Sunday’s runs are longer distances from 10k to 30k. Start time 8.15 am from War Memorial Park, main car park.
We also organise trails and treks across different areas of the UK, so if you have ever fancied climbing a mountain or trail running in the Peak district, or trekking across the New Forest, then this is just the group for you.
Join us for a run and we’ll support and encourage you to push your boundaries and sample new territory.
