Sarah Gardiner

I started running 15 years ago, I was then unfit, overweight and watched the London Marathon on TV and vowed to do it the following year. I did it, having had a year of challenges, no knowledge of running , the enormity of the task and a huge challenge of a 4:30hrs goal for a large charity donation, I did 4:29:31. I vowed never again, but somehow 15 years later I am approaching my 20th marathon. I am now a running coach, I have led this group for over 4 years and have lead over 15 beginners running programmes, with too many great success stories to remember. I believe running is for everyone, whatever you want from it, however competitive you need it to be, however social you want it to be, are you striving to do 5km quicker? do you want to progress to 10km? maybe a half? or even longer... We have many group members this year training for their first marathon in Brighton in 2017, some only started running in 2016!

The group has grown in size, ability and locations and continue even in the strange times of 2020 to offer a running workout for all.

I enjoy coaching, I do 1-2-1 Personal training and lead coaching sessions outside of my day job.
