I took up running about 3 years ago, and with Sarah's help and the group, I have managed to learn so much about running, and so much about myself.
From not being able to run more than 100 meters, so far I have run many 5ks, 10ks, Great South Run's (10 miles), trail runs, half marathons, obstacle courses and now.... I'm aiming for the Brighton marathon.
I really enjoy this club, as it isn't always focused on running.
Instead we experience a varied programme of the many different aspects of running from education, fitness, strength building and running form right through to, of course, running!
This is why I have become a run leader to help others realise the benefits of not just running, but the many other aspects that help get the most out of this addictive pastime.
The club is friendly and welcoming with people at all abilities.
