About our group

 **THE COURSE STARTING 25TH MARCH IS FULL**PLEASE DO NOT BOOK INTO ANY SESSIONS WITHOUT CONTACTING ME. THANKS. Banbury Begin to Run is an informal walk to run group aiming to help non-running ladies begin to run through the tried and tested (NHS approved) Couch to 5km programme. If you've always fancied running or just want to be a bit more active then this is the place to be.

The next course will start with an informal meeting on Wednesday 20th March 2019 at 6.30pm at Pinto Lounge in Banbury to discover more about the course and get to know each other a bit. (No running or lycra involved at this point). 

The main sessions will start on Monday 25th March at 6.30pm in Spiceball Park. (There will be some running required here) with the 2nd weekly session on Wednesdays also at 6.30pm in Spiceball Park. 

There will be 2 guided run/walk sessions a week at Spiceball Park with a  third session to be done in your own time. 

If you can only attend 1 of the weekly session then 2 'self-managed' sessions will be necessary. 

The aim is to 'Graduate' the course at Banbury parkrun 9 weeks later.  Banbury parkrun is free and starts at 9.00am on Saturdays in the middle field of Spiceball park. There is a first timer's briefing at 8.45am.
