About our group

Hello from Barnsley Harriers! We want to help you on your first steps on a running journey - and we have already had much success. Our Walk to Run groups have encouraged and helped dozens of people to get running over the past two years, many of whom are now fully fledged 'graduates' and members of our Club, regularly doing park runs, 10kms and and longer races too. And they all say we wouldn't have got here without BaHa Walk2Run! Our programme, with two sessions a week, will get you from the couch to doing a 5km/3 mile park run in around 8 weeks - or even sooner. The atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly - no pressure - and we have Run Leaders to look after all standards. Many of our leaders are in fact our own Walk2Run graduates! The next group will be starting Monday 10th September and running every Monday and Wednesday at 5.30pm for 8 weeks.
