Friday night run
Book a sessionAbout this run
This is a guided night run in Swinley forest over a distance of 5-7 km, to include a variety of made and unmade trails through forest and heathland, over both flat and undulating terrain. Obviously on night runs it is essential that you wear a Head Torch which should be in the region of 200+ lumens, and dress in warm reflective running attire, that should include moisture wicking layers and a light foldable windproof jacket as added protection. Trail running shoes are essential especially in wet weather. We always try to pace our runs to meet the average runner, however we always incorporate catch up stops to ensure that nobody gets left behind, whilst we ask faster runners to loop back occasionally. Please ensure that you are suitably equipped for the prevailing conditions and that you are properly warmed up and suitably hydrated before the run. Finally we often finish of the evening with a post run drink at the Golden Retriever pub (RG40 3DR) which is just five minutes drive.
