Running group rules and guidelines

All members attending group runs must read the Risk Assessment and abide with the below rules which include the booking information.

  1. Do not attend group runs if you, someone in your household (including your support bubble) or anyone you have been in contact with has tested positive for COVID-19, has any symptoms or if you are self-isolating following government guidelines/NHS Test and Trace. You should stay at home. If you test positive or become symptomatic and have been to the clubhouse or attended club runs you must report this to the club immediately and fill in this UKA Report Form.
  2. If you have travelled abroad, please follow government self-isolation guidelines before coming to a group run. If self-isolation is not required, please allow 48 hours before returning.
  3. Maintain social distancing at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Runners must stay ‘1m plus’ apart at all times and where possible should be side by side and not facing each other.
  4. Kindly be respectful to the community while running; do not put members of the public at risk. Keep a minimum of 2m away from all members of the public wherever possible.
  5. Groups must be a maximum of 6 (this includes group leader).
  6. It is encouraged and preferred members book into the 6pm Tuesday and Thursday group runs with RunTogether to ensure groups/locations do not go over capacity (maximum two groups of 6). However, it is possible to turn up and be booked in but if the two groups of 6 are already full you will be turned away and asked kindly to leave. Booking in is required for Track and Trace.   7. Only two distinct groups of 6 may meet at the clubhouse at any one time and there should be 10 minutes between a group leaving and a new group arriving. Kindly request that the clubhouse vicinity is not used as a meeting point at the time of club group runs if not attending these runs.
  8. Arrive ready to train, the clubhouse is closed and there are no changing or showering facilities at the clubhouse
  9. The clubhouse is closed and there are no storage facilities at the clubhouse and no belongings (including keys) can be left whilst running.
  10. As the clubhouse is closed there will be no access to the toilet.
  11. Group runs are for fully paid members only; no guests or trying before joining.
  12. On returning from run groups do not gather at the clubhouse but leave immediately

If meeting outside the clubhouse (or anywhere) please adhere to the rule of 6. Kindly request that the clubhouse vicinity is not used as a meeting point at the time of 6pm Tuesday and Thursday group runs if not attending these runs. 

The clubhouse hall will be closed for indoor training until further notice. Strictly no admission or access to the hall, fitness equipment, changing rooms, showers or bar. The following rules will apply on reopening.

The clubhouse hall is available for booking Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from approximately 4pm to 9pm and may be open during these times. Please follow the below rules:

  1. Strictly no admission if the clubhouse is closed (do not use your key if you have one).
  2. There are no storage facilities at the clubhouse and no belongings (including keys) are to be left whilst running. Any items left in the hall will be disposed of.
  3. There are no changing or showering facilities; do not use toilets for changing.
  4. The clubhouse is strictly keeping to the 2m social distance rule, all members must adhere to this.
  5. On entering the clubhouse use the hand sanitiser which will be clearly labelled and available at various locations throughout the clubhouse. A face covering must be worn at all times.
  6. You will need to sign in by providing your name and contact details for Track and Trace (after 21 days details will be destroyed, see our Privacy Policy) and/or checking in using the official NHS QR code poster with the NHS COVID-19 app.
  7. Clubhouse doorways and entrances will be no-stop areas and will be marked with crossing to maintain social distancing. Please follow the arrows and signs displayed at all times.
  8. For toilet access there will be a marked walkway to the one open toilet; please stick to this walkway at all times; do not stop and talk to anyone using the hall (remember to sign in and wear a face covering).
  9.
