Lynsey Teggart

I started running in 2003, to lose the baby weight and found that being out running was the only time I was not just Mum or Wife, I was Lynsey, steady plodder and back of the pack runner. Fast forward, 18 years, and I am still very much the same plodder and back of the pack runner that I have always been, apart from I have ran numerous 10k's, 10mile events, half marathons and one marathon, plus the mandatory Saturday morning parkrun most weeks and regular member of local running clubs. In January 2021, I decided I would do something which had been suggested to me on numerous occasions and with the support of my husband and fellow Run Leader, Dave and close friend, Sharon, I completed my Run Leader training. With the world coming out of lockdown, I took the opportunity to use my new Run Leader qualification with Birstall RunFIT and will specialise in Jeffing (structured Run/Walk/Run). Come and join us for a run, followed by a brew and a chat. I promise, you will not regret it.
