Chew Valley Snails July 2019 C25K Week 6

Week 6 of C25K......the showers stopped & the weather was kind!
This week we:

* Did 'squat turns' as part of our dynamic warm ups.
* Started off by doing 2x100M Strides
* Ran for 8 mins, walked for 5 mins, concentrating on what our arms and feet were doing
* Ran for 10 mins instead of 8 mins.....you were all running so well that I added the extra 2 minutes and you all did it - big pats on backs all round!
* We did cooldown stretches - 'hugged trees' for calves and roll down stretches as well as all our usual repertoire
* Practised 'Clamshells' as our core strength exercise for the week

So:
Homework 1: After warm ups & dynamic stretches, 8 min run/5 min walk/8 min run followed by 5 min cooldown walk & static stretches
Homework 2: After warm ups & dynamic stretches, 10 min run/4 min walk/8 min run followed by 5 min walk & static stretches
