Welcome to Chew Valley Snails, a group for novice to experienced recreational runners in the Chew Valley area. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see all runs currently available.

You can find our current Risk Assessment documents under "Files" at the top of the  Snails Facebook page.

Couch to 5k courses: 10 weeks, graduation runs at local parkruns. Cost £35 for 10 weeks - includes your first year's membership* of Chew Valley Snails.

Improvers courses: for those working on technique and / or distance up to 10k; available to any graduates of the C25k or confident 5k+ runners. Sometimes scheduled to coincide with particular local 10k runs. 

Social Runs:  suitable to any C25k graduates or those confident at running 4k+. Local runs on- and off-road exploring local routes. Lots of looping-back by faster runners, so no-one will be left behind.  Dates, locations and distances vary so look through the list to see what suits you.  Note that many of our routes are not suitable for dogs - please always check in advance with the run leader to see if you may bring your dog.

*Non-members may attend up to three sessions with Chew Valley Snails, but must join to continue, for insurance purposes. Annual membership of Chew Valley Snails is £10 (1st April to 31st March).

Refund policy: Refunds for courses can only to be made in the event of an illness, injury or change of circumstances which prevents the continuation of the course by a member. All refunds will be made via bank transfer.

JAN 2022: we are currently sourcing a new provider for Snails Club clothing.
