About this run

Kick start your fitness with a Couch to 5k course! Suitable for absolute beginners or those looking for a gradual re-introduction to running or to get fit again. A 10 week course progressing gently, but by the end you'll be able to run continuously for 30 minutes or around 5k. We finish with a timed group run. You'll need to commit to being active 3 times per week for around 30 minutes including our weekly group sessions. We have a Facebook group for support and to arrange meet ups at other times to make sure you keep going! You'll learn how to warm up, cool down and stretch properly plus get lots of technique tips and increase your time and intensity gradually to help prevent injuries. We have had lots of success with runners who have tried running alone but struggled to keep going, don't hesitate to contact me for a chat and join us! Please sign up for all sessions when booking and pay £40 cash at the DEKA shop to secure your place.
