Welcome to Eton Manor AC's Love to Run!
About our group
Eton Manor AC is the running and athletic club for Leyton, Walthamstow, Leytonstone and Hackney Wick.
The club was originally based in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with a proud history dating back to 1913.
As the area has evolved and running continued to grow in popularity, we've developed training sessions, a race calendar and social events that every runner can use to improve, to maintain fitness and feel great about their running all year round.
Our members represent the diversity of our brilliant communities in East London - we welcome runners of all abilities, from absolute beginners to talented runners with elite potential.
Regardless of age, gender, gender identity, race, national origin, sexuality, disability or any other personal factors, we welcome anyone who would like to run with others and be part of our supportive family of members.
We're based at our clubhouse - The Cottage in Leyton's Jubilee Park, with sessions taking us around the green spaces and roads of Waltham Forest and Hackney, as well as a weekly session at the Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre track.
Our youth section offers tailored training for young athletes aged between 10-17 years old in a broader range of track and field disciplines. Find out more about youth section training and how to get involved.
You can find out more about our general training sessions and plan, races that you can take part in as part of club membership and details of how to become a member and all that membership offers.
Love to Run is our 0-5k running programme that has got hundreds of local people running. It aims to take runners from any level of past or recent running experience - even no running experience at all - to completing a 5K distance in 12 weeks.
Our Love to Run sessions are listed here on Run Together for booking. For any other sessions, booking is not required; just take a look at our website or Facebook group and turn up.
