About this run

Famously marking the start, or perhaps finish, of the UK’s most famous long distance walking path “the Pennine Way”, Edale is a beautiful village boasting no less than two pubs, a fabulous and well loved cafe “the Penny Pot” and a local shop. Located at the heart of Hope Valley, with direct rail links to both Manchester and Sheffield, it’s no surprise that Edale has become an incredibly popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. We’re thrilled to be able to offer trail runners a stunning circular route, taking in the summits of Mam Tor (517m), Lord’s Seat (552m) and Kinder Lowe (635m). Our route of just over 10 miles consists of well maintained paths, primarily of stone slab and track paths. This route also provides a total elevation of 2,365ft.
