About our group
Thank you for showing an interest in Harlow Running Club (HRC) and specifically the novice sessions that we conduct twice a year.
The courses are currently led by experienced running club members whom hold an UKA/BTF Coach in Running Fitness & UKA Leadership in Running Fitness qualifications.
The course is dependent on numbers, so if we do not have a full course it will be cancelled, and you will be advised to book onto the next planned course later in the year.
This is a 12 week course for ages 16+ and takes place on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm from Mark Hall Sports Centre for approximately 1 hour or less.
This course aims to take a novice from running 0.25 of a Mile to 5 miles over the course of a 12-week program. You should have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to run at least one lap of the track on week 1.
Please seek GP medical advice in advance if you have any doubts/health concerns before signing up for our course.
Upon completion, you should be more than capable of joining in with the normal Harlow Running Club Sessions, you will become a member of the club (included in course fee, and receive a free t-shirt)
Please sign up in advance to avoid disappointment as the course has a limit of 24 people.
