Our group runs

We've found 9 runs at location: Hyde Leisure Center

HRC and Covid. it is essential you read the Covid Risk Assessment before booking any run. (See Home page and HRC facebook page) We are following Government and EA guidelines and have put in a lot of effort to make sure we can resume safely and minimise the risk of infection. It is important you follow all the instructions. You must put a contact number on your Runtogether profile and answer the health questionnaire  before booking. Pre-booking is essential so we can manage numbers.

Hyde Running Community Run Night information:

This is a community run not a club, but will have club ethics for  training.

Our training is unique, in that we do mainly road and off road in Summer months (Light Nights) and all road in Winter (Dark Nights). Also a large amount of undulating/hilly courses on varied terrain/distances which we will help you to master. We have some fantastic scenic routes. For example, lots of runs over and around Werneth Low. We do lots of loop backs and regroups. We do a repetition session once a month  to improve style and running pace and fitness. Some flat reps and some hill reps for a good bit of variety and structured fitness like a club.

We have at present three groups

Monday and Wednesday All at 18:30 start. Hyde Leisure Centre

Group 1. inters. 9k to 11k. (5.5ml to 7mls) Aprox. Sub 10min miles pace. Varied terrains/distances off road in Summer/ road runs Winter. Reps in Summer once on a Wed end of the Month , In Winter fortnightly on Weds.

Group 2. Improvers. 8k to 10k (5.5ml to 6.5ml) Aprox. Sub 12min miles pace. Varied terrain/distances off road in Summer/ road runs Winter. Reps in Summer once on a Wed end of the Month , In Winter fortnightly on Weds. Reps in Summer once on a Wed end of the month.

Group 3. New runners/Experienced runners 5/10k (3/6mls) Approx. . terrain/distances off road in Summer/ Road Runs Winter. Reps in Summer once on a Wed end of the Month , In Winter fortnightly on Weds.
