Jog Walsall

Welcome to Jog Walsall - Free of charge running sessions in the borough of Walsall.

We offer:

Complete Beginner?   12 week Couch to 5K courses to get you off the couch and become a regular runner. *Please note these sessions follow the NHS Couch to 5k plan (we have extended our programme to 12 weeks) therefore we recommend people to attend the full 12 weeks.

Already Running? Keep me going Run Together social running sessions are recommended for our Couch to 5K graduates or anyone who has run before who would like to continue running after reaching the 5K distance. 

All sessions are Fun and friendly delivered by our team of Jog Walsall Leaders (*they are the ones wearing the bright orange tops). Jog Walsall leaders are either England Athletics LIRF - Leadership in Running Fitness qualified or are Jog Walsall Support Leaders and have been trained through our Walsall Council Volunteer programme.  

We also support the #runandtalk programme with a number of England Athletics Mental Health Ambassadors amongst our Leaders.

Jog Walsall has links with local running clubs within Walsall and can support joggers to make the transition into clubs. Many of joggers have enjoyed attending local runs and races together and Jog Walsall also regularly arranges for our joggers to attend the local parkrun at Walsall Arboretum.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAMME START? - All sessions are listed in our events section and also on the RunTogether website - just search for our group Jog Walsall. 
COSTS? - All the sessions listed on Jog Walsall are Free of Charge!!
CAN CHILDREN RUN? - Yes children can run alongside you, however the adult running takes full responsibility for them. Please register them in the same way you register yourself. Please note this is an adult session and is lead by volunteers therefore the staffing ratio's are different. Your child must also be able to keep up with yourself and the programme.
