About this run

Want to get the cardiovascular benefit of running but don't want the impact? Power walking might be just the thing for you. Join the group for a 45 minute cardio-based walking workout. The aim is to raise your heart rate, so it won't be a leisurely stroll. The power walking group will be led by qualified Run Leaders who have many years of experience supporting women to get into running. We understand that running might not be for everyone and we are excited to offer this lower impact option for ladies looking to get active with the support and encouragement of a friendly group. This is a 6 week course starting on 22nd September, please sign up for the whole course. If the session proves popular and we have leaders available, we hope it make it a regular session.
