About this run

NB - The minimum age to attend our sessions is 16. This Social Run starts at Linton Recreation Ground and finishes at Wylde Sky Brewery! It is suitable for women who already run a little, or a lot! All paces are welcome. On average, our runs cover 5k and we run for 30-35 minutes (around 6-7 minutes per km). We operate a loop back system so that no one is left behind. Looping back also accommodates faster runners as they cover extra distance while rejoining the pack. Newer runners might take a walking break or two during this time, so don’t worry if you’re not running for 30 minutes continuously just yet. These runs typically include some scenic trail sections, so be mindful of tree roots, rabbit holes or uneven ground. Some sections can get muddy - trail shoes are advised, if you have them, in wet weather. New members are welcome to join a Social Run at any time.
