Every Minute On The Minute

The purpose of this session was to introduce the group to running drills that could enhance their running so, every minute on the minute the whistle blew and 45s of a running drill commenced. Highlights of the run were performing three knees and kick outside a running friends on the High Street and getting a round of applause from them and passers by. We have suggested that perhaps we return every week with a new routine and score cards used to indicate our performance.  We also ended up with an activity on the mid-town traffic lights and received some friendly acknowledgment from bemused passers by as we all did vertical jumps.

To finish off we did 5 minutes of 20s run, 20s sprint, 20s walk before collapsing into stretches.

A different session and some interesting coordination but lots of laughter to start our week off well.
