Our runs are varied just like the enthusiastic runners in the group. The aim is to change the sessions week to week to make us more complete runners. One week may be hill skills, the next speed work, possibly followed by a longer run the week after.
We revisit the sessions after a few weeks to allow us to gauge progress.
The sessions always start with a dynamic warm up. This can include Zombie chase, British bulldog, running drills or any activity to bring us together and promote team spirit as well as an elevated breathing rate.
The couch to 5K sessions are delivered to transition the budding athlete from walking to running 5K using a steadily progressive plan that lasts 9 weeks. Delivered Lickey End style we aim to bring the fun to the run.
