Introduction to trail running

This course will introduce you to some of the lovely trails that surround Marple and Marple Bridge. Each week we'll go out and gradually increase the distance, although we will repeat each of the runs from about 4 miles up to 7 miles (so it is consistent with the lengths of our regular routes). There will be a lot of stopping and regrouping and it is intended to be a social pace. The routes will involve hills, but these will be taken slowly so do not let the terrain put you off! Most of the runs will meet at the Railway but we will let you know if the starting place changes. Here are the dates and the rough distances we will be covering. Note that there is no run on 27 May (Bank holiday) and 8 July (RK & SF both away). 13 May - 4 miles 20 May - 5 miles 3 June - 4 miles 10 June - 6 miles 17 June - 5 miles 24 June - 7 miles 1 July - 6 miles 15 July - 7 miles
