Longtime cycling enthusiast Carl inspired by his wife Kayes progress as both runner and Run Leader also started seeing him getting the running bug back after not running for 12 years, Through a mixture of Cycling and running Carl lost 4 stone in 4 months from Oct 2016 through hard work and erm hard work! Carl believes that it can be done and has proved it can.
Carl is also First Aid Qualified for the last 35 years.
As his running got better Carl felt confident enough to join a local E.A affiliated club. As a runner he is able to speak comfortably of how Running can greatly improve physical and mental health, he is supportive to all levels of runner, non-judgemental and definitely bubbling with enthusiasm! and a go get it done attitude with a passion with keeping fellow runners looked after and Safety is the first point of running.
Carl recently ran over Snowdon in North Wales as part of a Half-
Marathon! and Beacon Hill Trail Half Marathon. Carl was recently found running up and back down Skiddaw in the lakes and has the bug for more.....
Carl can be found Run Leading on MRC Mondays 3-4-5 Mile and 10K groups at MRC Melton Mowbray.
