Ian Yarwood

How did you get into running?
I first started running in 990 and then returned to running in 2018 after Jane visited our Slimming World group. We were so inspired we came along to the Urmston club and the rest is history. MileShy and Slimming World proved to be a great combination for me and my wife as I lost over five stone in weight and Alison lost over six stone. Alison also regularly attends MileShy events.

What is your favourite event and why?
My absolute favourite event is the Half Marathon.
