A weekly evening "Intermediate" session for any ladies currently able to run 5k (or around 30 minutes continuously) looking to vary and enhance their current running skills ie. improve pace, distance, time or technique within a friendly and supportive environment. The sessions will vary each week and will be either 'distance' (5-10km) or 'effort' (hills/intervals) based. All sessions will include an active warm up, cool down and finish with stretching. You will also be given advice on exercises suitable to aid running and avoid injury. These sessions are ideal for anyone that can confidently run 5k or around 30 minutes non-stop and looking to challenge themselves by adding various elements to their running. Whether you are just wanting a weekly, friendly group to run with or training for an event: 5k, 10k, half or full marathon these sessions aim to enhance your current training and level of fitness. Please be ready at 7.00pm for the registration, briefing and warm up activity.
