About this run

Do you want to start running but are limited to when the children are at school? Have you tried 'Couch to 5K' but found it hard to motivate yourself? Do you lack any running friends to train together with? Then why not join our Thursday morning beginners' group, designed especially for people like you! Our beginners' group meets weekly, and is designed to get you started as a runner. It's a coached session that will help you to: * start to run, using a walk/run strategy * build up your fitness and endurance * build up your confidence * have fun * understand more about running kit, nutrition, hydration and recovery * understand what you need to do to prevent injury In addition to the weekly sessions, you'll have access to a closed Facebook group, where you can share stories and successes, pick up running tips and get answers to any questions you have. Why not come and give it a try? The group is small so you will get lots of individual support.
