So here I am - an official 'NWR Run leader' Previously a girl who hated any form of exercise I started running to assist my weight loss journey and tone up. Little did I know I'd love it so much and be where I am today. The original goal of running a 5k black light run soon progressed to a 10k women's health run and then somehow to Liverpool half marathon and the list goes on. I used to solo run (or with a selected few ) until I found Nwr and the Clifton Unicorns. Wednesday night social runs soon became a regular occurrence and since then I now run with the Nwr ladies whenever i can. It's great to have their support and now it's my turn to give something back. I run 3(ish) times a week (family and work dependent) varying distances and routes. Getting out and about is key whether it's for 1k or 21k / 10minute mile or 20minute mile. Never give up on your dreams.
