I started running again in early 2015 when my children were no longer toddlers. It was a way for me to have time to myself and do something that I loved but just never had the time for.
I first saw NWR at Nottingham Half marathon in September 2015, but it took me until January 2016 to actually go to a group. Since then I've never looked back!
I started at the intermediate group and then volunteered helping at Kirstie's beginners groups in Selston. NWR is more than just a running club for women, it's a lovely supportive group that welcomes (with open arms) women of all abilities.
I'm a new run leader and can't wait to meet new runners and support them on their running journey.
