Paul Taylor

Having hated sport in general and running in particular when at school, I never thought that it would become something that I loved and wanted to promote. Following the death of my Dad in 2007, I started running when my sister challenged me to complete a British Heart Foundation Santa run with her. I had serious doubts as to my ability to go from nothing to 6k in 12 weeks. 12 years later, I haven't stopped running since and cannot imagine a life without it. Running has helped me to cope with my personal struggles with mental health and given me a wonderful running family that give me so much support and encouragement Some years ago, I joined a local running club, the Coltishall Jaguars, and have taken the Leadership in Running Fitness Qualification and Coach in Running Fitness so that I could coach others and share my love of running.
