About this run

A short interval session every Wednesday at 18:30 in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne. Meet in the Waterfront car park. The emphasis is on getting your heart rate up and running a bit faster in short bursts. We warm up on a 1km loop in the harbour where we are able to chat and catch up as a group. Once warmed up, we will do some drills to prepare us for the main session. The main part of the session is based around 12 minutes of effort and 12 minutes of recovery. The interval part of the session is run as individuals, though natural groups form. We will have someone to run with new members on their first session. We turn at exactly half way to allow natural re-grouping. The cool down will follow, which will be around 1 km as a group. Stretches and an optional group photo to finish, There are 4 different sessions that we cycle through each week. Full details of the current week's session will be posted in the WhatsApp group the day before.
