Emma Wilson

My running journey started very slowly in 2006 when I found myself very overweight and unhealthy and wanted to do something about it. My love for running grew rapidly and by 2009, I was running marathons and completing middle distancec triathlons. Since then, I have had a daughter and started on my ultra journey. 2019 was my biggest year yet, which saw me start and 'just about' finish a non-stop 100 mile ultra running race from Winchester to Eastboune. A gruelling race, but one that I would not let beat me. Since the summer, the running has taken a little bit of a back seat whilst I set up my own business; Pineapple Rock (Event and Business support). Starting up my business and attending networking events has made me think - Why not combined the 2 things you are most passionate about: Running and meeting / working with like minded professionals? I hope people will enjoy the runs and see that networking can be done anywhere, in any format.
