Welcome to Pewsey Plodders Running Group

About our group

Are you ready for a new challenge in 2024?

I am very excited to announce a collaboration with NonetoRun - a fantastic running app and community, of which I am an ambassador.

Starting on 8th January, you can sign up for the 8 week challenge, committing to running three times a week, (walk/run to start with).  You will have access to a pdf setting out your runs, the option of signing up for the app (first month free) and loads of support.

On a Thursday night from 11th January there will be a group run, covering the corresponding run from NonetoRun, for support.

SIGN UP TODAY:

https://none-to-run.ck.page/challengeNonetoRun

Then sign up to the runs on the 'Runs' page on here - only 8 spaces available. https://groups.runtogether.co.uk/Plod/RunsRun Challenge

Meeting on a Thursday night at 6pm for 30 minutes, we will have a warm up, short session, cool down and lots of fun.

(Then, after the Challenge or whenever you feel ready you can come along to Pewsey Plodders Running Club!  PPRC is somewhere for people to come along who can't or perhaps don't want to run that far but would like to get out and keep fit with like-minded folk and you are more than welcome to just join us on a run night.

We meet on a Tuesday and Thursday night at 7pm outside Pewsey Vale School.)

If this sounds what you are looking for, I would ask that you register with RunTogether.  This provides me with easy access to your emergency contact details and a booking system.

Please wear comfortable shoes, layers,  some reflective wear and a head/chest torch - these are essential as the evenings are drawing in.  (cheap reflective vests and head torches can be bought on Ebay, Amazon, Decathlon and sometimes in the centre aisle at Lidl - you don't need top-of-the-range!)
