About this run
Join the beginners group if you are starting from scratch (i.e. no or very little experience of jogging/running) or if you are returning from injury/illness. This 9 week plan will have you jogging 3 miles continuously before the festive period arrives as we gradually build up from walking to jogging each week. The group is led by an England Athletics qualified leader & coach in running fitness who has been running for 5 years. Each session will begin with an introduction and explanation followed by a 5 minute warm-up & then on to the main session. We then end with a cool down and static stretches.
