About this run

This course is aimed at absolute beginners and the 10 week course will build from week 1 which will involve mostly walking through to week 10 which if you follow the plan will consist of you running 5K without stopping. We will go along to Penrith parkrun on the 1st Saturday after this course is finished to mark your graduation and celebrate your success. Every week will consist of a brisk 5 to 10 minute walk to our start point followed by us showing you some warm up exercises and at the end of each session we will show you some stretches that'll help ease your muscles. When you do the running part of each session this will be at an easy pace and you should be able to talk between breaths and not be unable to speak so it's all very easy.
