I love running and saw becoming a Run Leader as one way of giving something back. In the 10 years since I first laced up some running shoes I have gone from someone who struggled to run for a mile without getting a stitch to someone who runs 5 times a week, I've completed races from 5k to Half Marathon and this year did my first multi-day event, the Whistlestop Tour of Wirral. Last year I completed the UKA Coach in Running Fitness qualification - I really enjoy coaching other runners, especially those who are just starting out!
