About our group
We are a fun, friendly and supportive running group with the aim of developing your running skills to being able to run up to 10k or Half Marathon!
(Our suggested minimum requirement for our sessions is those that have completed Couch to 5k (or similar) or are able to complete parkrun).
We have a variety of sessions available (usually a 5k run, interval training & Sunday Long Run). Run sessions are organised jointly with my fellow coach, Katy Andrews.
We would, ideally like to aim that at the end of the programme you are ready to compete in an optional event with the rest of the group, or at an event of your choice.
The aim is that you run approx twice a week with us, following a varied programme and complete a self-motivated run yourself. We will guide you on what you need to do and support you through the whole process. You can attend any of the group runs each week, but if you only attend some, you'll need to complete self-motivated runs for the rest.
All sessions include a warm-up and cool-down.
