About our group

I am so proud of each and everyone of my runners and watching them grow in confidence and achieve things that were once just dreams is amazing.
RunFit5k is a fun & inclusive running course and group in Leamington Spa and surrounding areas for those wanting to manage physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and health. During our sessions, as well as following a Walk2Run programme, we focus on running posture and technique, running mindset and achieving your running goals.
We are not a competitive group so speed and time is not important. Our runners average a 35 to 40 minute 5k and no one is left alone at the back. The running, companionship and the benefits of running mean more than the digits on a stop watch.
Please check out the Our Runs tab for info about our regular running groups on a Sunday at 9am and on a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm for people who can already run or jog 5k. I also have beginners courses, so please email me for further information. Our next one starts on 9th January for 10 weeks.
RunFit5k is an approved Mental Health group through Run Together and Mind and Rachel is an official Mental Health Champion as part of this program. We host a number of #RunandTalk and #Walkand Talk events throughout the year to support things like Mental Health Day and Mental Health Awareness Week. Check out our news section for details of past and future events.
RunFit 5k is managed and led by Rachel (more info about Rachel's jouney can be seen by clicking her profile below/to the right). All course finishers will receive a medal and we also have gift certificates available for all our courses.
