About our group
We meet on Mondays at 6:30pm and Wednesdays at 6pm by Teignmouth Pier.
The group is led by Becky, a qualified Personal Trainer and Coach in Running Fitness.
The sessions include some “running specific” upper body, lower body and core circuit based drills and then an interval based run of about 30 minutes and we finish off with a cool down and stretch. There is a different theme each week and we alternate between speedwork (pick ups in speed on the flat with recoveries), hill sessions, time trials and lots of other fun stuff!
Our sessions are not distance based and all exercises can be adapted/modified to suit all abilities, so anyone can come along and have a go. All we ask is that you focus on your own running and do as much as you feel comfortable with. The quality of each interval/effort is way more important than the quantity - just give each one 100% of your maximum!
