I have always enjoyed running for fitness, it's so flexible to fit around life. I particularly started to appreciate this after having children, as I could fit a bit of exercise around our family's busy schedules. I enjoy running middle distance, but appreciate the benefits of shorter distance runs as well as longer distance endurance runs - running the London marathon in 2014 was a big achievement for me! I am now keen to share my love and enthusiasm for running, so that others can share in the health benefits, both physically and for the mindfulness and mental wellbeing we can gain - as well as the social side of being part of a running group, whatever our level of fitness or training objectives.
