About our group
Run Catshill is a friendly and welcoming group of runners of all abilities.
The group's Tuesday evening sessions offer a variety of running activities designed to make the athlete a stronger and more economical runner. A session may see speed work, hills, endurance or strength and conditioning.
Tuesday morning sessions have a more relaxed feel and are geared towards people that wish to run 5-7km to keep up their fitness and have a chat along the way. That said, the run leader will sneak hills and other challenges into the run!
Friday morning is a 5-6km for those that want to get a quick run in before work, we aim to return to the start point by 7:15am. If you can comfortably run 5km in 40 mins then this session is suitable for you.
Whatever your running goals, come along and enjoy the social element.
The sessions are always designed to keep the group together whatever each individual's ability - we never leave a runner behind!
We meet at the Catshill Meadow, off Meadow Road, Catshill, Bromsgrove.
The group also works in partnership with Bromsgrove Council to deliver the very popular Couch to 5K course. This is a 9 week program designed to transition the new athlete from walking to running.
