Started running in 2010 following major back surgery, love how it makes me feel physically and mentally. We've all found it tough at the start but joining Lakers will help you push through the tough times. I struggled to run for 1 minute at the beginning, fearing I would collapse at 45 seconds....but here I am with a variety of medals to show for it. You can do it! And who cares of you feel you're slow or will be last? Chances are, there'll be a big old party at the back and more time to enjoy the scenery!
