Norwich Social Joggers

Norwich Social Joggers is a new running group that started in April 2021

Hi

My name is Stephen Pizey creator & leader of Norwich Social Joggers

I first started running in 2017 at Norwich Roadrunners 

During my time there i took part in many 10k races Half Marathons plus a full Marathon in Brighton plus The Great North Run

I also attended a LIRF Leadership in running fitness course and hold a current valid certificate which then allowed me to take care of all new non runners which i found really rewarding 

In 2021 i was proud to renew my licence by up dating  my DBS Certificate and sitting an online course to allow me to carry on having a current LIRF Certificate to start up my new group Norwich Social Joggers 

Norwich Social Joggers was created by myself during the 2020 lockdown period 

I decided to create a new unique group for people that did not want to join a running club   

I came up with the name of Norwich Social Joggers

We Run,Jog, Walk & Talk

I was delighted to get full support from fellow Joggers that continued to run with me throughout the lockdown period

We are a very caring group that are kind and helpful to all that run with us. Nobody gets left out of left behind 

We care more for our runners than we do our own PBs 

We have also have a Facebook page to post information on weekly runs, routes, events & photos 

Our base is  The Henderson Recreation Ground in Ivy Road Just of Bowthorpe Road

This is where we meet on Mondays at 6.45pm for a 7pm start 

We welcome you to come along and Walk Jog or Run with us

All our current members will look forward to helping you whatever your ability and pace 

We have our own bespoke running tops designed and produced with our group name printed, thanks to local sponsors
