Shelley Noller

I started running during Covid as it was really the only thing you could do at the time. I wasn't particularly a fan of running and wasn't great at it either, but I was lucky enough to bump into a few members from Thamesmead Running Club who welcomed me into the 'running bubble' and it went from there. I'm so grateful to have met them as not only did they help me go from being unable to complete a 5k run to running half marathons, they also became great friends! As well as a running group who help and encourage you to get out running, they also have lots of other socials that they organise too. It's a great way of keeping fit and meeting lots of new friends. I've since gone on to becoming a run leader and I'm looking forward to helping others on their running journey!
