About our group
Running is a fantastic way to get and keep fit, meet people, see the countryside, feel better, the list could go on....
Why not treat yourself to a session or two and find out what we are all about. All sessions are led by an England Athletics qualified coach. Do not worry, you are not expected to be competitive or good already... your coach is passionate about you and how best to help you run and run well to your ability. You will be looked after and never left behind. Coming to these sessions is a brilliant way to meet people and build up your confidence so that you are happy running regularly, be it with us, your friends, your family, at Park Runs. You may wish to combine it with running at your local running club. The possibilities are endless. Your coach at RunTogether the Magpies is there to help you on your way with the fantastic sport of running and guide and support you every step of the way. Why run solo?
Our running group offers sociable and fun sessions, where you can run at your pace or be pushed to a new level. It is your choice. If it is your ambition, we can work on improving your running but we also love to cater for people who simply wish to run for fun. Running is your hobby and we will ensure that you run to your agenda. Please look at our available runs for group sessions, and contact me direct if you would prefer one to one sessions.
We have now introduced fitness walking sessions aimed at people who are not wishing to run, yet would like to maintain their fitness in a sociable environment. Fun sessions, and suitable for all levels of fitness, age, gender. Lots of chatting but lots of work out.
