I started running 14 years ago when after years of watching The Great North Run I decided I was going to enter it. With little training it took me 3 hours 27 mins and I could hardly move the next day. So, I decided I would join a local running club and train. 2 years later 2 hours 29 mins, I had taken 1 hour off my time and I was hooked.
Over the years I have run consistently 3-4 times a week and made the most amazing friends. My times now have improved so much that my challenges have become bigger and better now adding marathons and ultras to my running portfolio.
I love to share my journey and passion for running and what it can bring you. My goal is to help people believe in themselves and feel good about what they can achieve. I know running doesn't come easy, it didn't for me, so I am proof that if you have faith in what you can do and you stick at it you will reap the rewards and your body will love you for it.
