Josephine May

I took up running in April 2016.  I wanted to continue improving my fitness and keep my weight down.

A local group aimed at all abilities was ideal.  I couldn't get motivated to run on my own.  I wanted to try Park Run, but was worried I would be last.

After completing 10 weeks with the Trotters, I had the confidence to do my first Park Run in July 2016.  When I joined the group I never thought I would become a run leader.  I am keen to help others on similar journeys to mine.  The hardest step is getting off the sofa, even when it's cold and wet.  In February 2017 I ran Newquay 10k with the right support anything is possible.
