Paul Ashford
Name: Paul Ashford
Running for how long: Started in March 2018.
How did you get into running: Completed Verwood Runners Couch 2 5K course in 2018 and got the bug from there.
What's your best experience of running so far: Completing "The Beast" that's along the Jurrasic Coast, it's a tough run/walk but absolutely stunning scenery and felt a massive sense of achievement for finishing.
What type of music do you run too: I rarely listen to music when I run unless I am on my own on trails, but when I have it's generally been 90's Dance music.
What do you get up to on a typical weekend: Parkrun, spending time with family and friends.
What's the best thing about Verwood Runners: We are like a family and everyone is so supportive of everyone else. I have definitely found "My Tribe"
Give one unusual fact about yourself: Come and talk to me for a bit, you'll soon figure out that I'm generally quite an unusual person.
What makes you laugh: Too much to list, I have never grown up (in height or maturity). I'm actually a little crazy so I laugh at myself and my random thoughts quite a lot.
