Matt Stride

Name: Matt Stride

Running for how long: About 5 years or so I would guess.

How did you get into running: I was completing low distance triathlons, however couldn't keep up with the training schedule so decided to focus just on running.

What's your best experience of running so far: Running up, across and down Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales in the snow. One of the best running days of my life. Even got to see a Brocken Spectre.

What type of music do you run too: I used to run to a wide selection, though since joining Verwood Runners I prefer to run without music so I can chat to others.

What do you get up to on a typical weekend: Running / volunteering at Parkrun and general house & life admin. Nothing too exciting.
