About our group

Looking to improve your fitness through walking but not sure where to start?

Meet new people, get outdoors and de-stress.  

Join our Women Only *Beginners* Walking group, Walking My Way to Running, for those looking to progress their fitness through walking. 

***Please note there are no sessions on Tuesdays 5th, 12th and 19th June - replacement sessions will be run on Fridays 8th, 15th and 22nd June****

No experience necessary, ALL abilities and fitness levels welcome.  

Sessions are lead by our friendly qualified instructor Sophie.

Sophie will progress the group gently, making sure that you are able to go at your own pace.

Sessions are on Tuesdays at 10AM. Meet at the main entrance to Bury Knowle Park (OX3 9ED) 

You may also want to look at our mixed gender sister group Silver Joggers (RunTogether Page). Whether you're silver haired or not, they have runs for regulars and beginners on Thursday mornings at Bury Knowle Park. They also have a website http://www.silverjoggers.club/ 

Walking My Way to Running operates under the Oxford and Oxfordshire GO Active programme and is supported by Oxford City Council.
