About this run
This is a Sunday morning off-road group run for those with some trail and/or running experience, on trails through woodland, and across farmland tracks. We'll start from the car park and head down Harmer Green Lane and New Road across to Dawley Plantation. From there, we'll head towards Tewin village and Home Wood, where we'll make a circular route back to the village and parallel to Orchard Road. We'll then double-back towards Harmer Green Lane, through Lockley's Wood, and to our starting point. Please ensure your shoes are of 'trail running' type (Autumn through to early Spring predominantly). An alternative route - to Codicote - may be used occasionally, then back to Welwyn North via Woolmer Green. Some runs will also take a reverse route, for variety, or be a different route altogether.
